Sunny Summer Days!

It is hot! hot! hot! here in sunny Arizona, so don't forget to protect your skin when outside. Sunscreen is no longer an option, it's a necessity if you want to slow down the aging process. I often get kind remarks regarding my skin, and I believe one of the biggest things you can do for yourself is to protect it with superior non-toxic products, especially in the sun.

The skin is the body's largest organ, weighing in at around nine pounds for the average person. It carries out a variety of functions to help maintain your health and it is the first layer of our immune system. Skin also uses the sun's energy to product vitamin D, which is essential for strong bones. Can't get more natural than that and in sunny AZ, we have no problem.

Keep in mind these sobering statistics:
Skin cancer is the most common form of cancer in the U.S. One blistering sunburn will quadruple your risk for getting cancer. Clothing, shade, and clouds don't block out all the harmful rays which are most concentrated between 9am and 3pm.

Make sure to use a sunscreen that's safe and effective, offering protection from both ultraviolet (UV) and radiation (UV-A and UV-B). For a great effective, non-toxic and safe product for your skin, check here for this sunscreen.

Happy day!
