Proactive steps towards exceptional health!
In today's news, it's inevitable that you've seen all the talk about healthcare reform. What's in store for our future healthcare as we age? Being part of the baby boomer generation, I know this question is weighing heavily on the minds of my fellow boomers.
With all this talk about healthcare, what comes to my mind foremost is the need to be proactive in one's own health. It's imperative that we as individuals do all we can to achieve optimal health naturally, without dependence on the "system". Now, I'm not anti-medical establishment, it's just that I prefer not to spend my time being "sick". I spent a considerable time in a doctors office as a child and I knew growing up that was one place I didn't want to waste my time. Life is for living!
So when it comes to nutrition, I want to learn everything I can. Nutrition is no longer just about protein, carbs, and fats! There's exciting and extensive research being done all around the world on nutritional health and healing. Phytochemicals are being well researched and scientists are finding promising results in the role of phytochemicals and cancer. Some of these phytochemicals in the forefront of research are resveratrol, anthycyanin, quercetin, ellagic acid, and catechin.
Resveratrol is found in the skin of red grapes and it belongs in a larger class of photochemicals called phytoalexins. These are used as a defense against infections as they have antibacterial and antifungal properties. Several studies (Athar et al., 2007, Jang et al., 1997, & Sale et al., 225) have shown strong evidence of the anti-cancer action of resveratrol. Particularly in regards to cancers that it can come in direct contact with such as colon, gastrointestinal, and skin cancers.
There are many resveratrol products on the market today and how do you choose the best one? Well, I'll make it simple for you. I use a product thats from a company you can trust ~ the top company recongnized in the U.S. as the #1 natural nutrition company. This product is shown to protect and repair cellular DNA, positively impact genetic regulators, promote mitochondrial biogenesis and slow AGE protein formation. Okay, lots of scientific stuff, but not only is the product the purest available, it's also 10x more powerful than resveratrol alone.
For more information, select this anti-aging tonic. All natural- exclusive - tastes delicious!

Beautiful Skin starts within!
Following a balanced nutritional programs is one of the smartest things you can do to maintain healthy skin. Neglecting your diet by eating too much refined sugar and processed foods really does show up in your face. Deficiencies of certain nutrients such as vitamin A, B-Complex, and healthy fats such as EPA's & DHA's slow the skins ability to repair itself. Your skin is the body's largest organ and your first line of defense, so keeping skin healthy is as important as keeping it soft and radiant.
We are bombarded with environmental stresses daily, from pollution, sunlight, toxic and chemical personal care products and products we use in our home. As we age, the risk of free radicals damaging our cells increases. Fortunately, there are super nutrients, vitamins and minerals as well as phytonutrients and antioxidants that can rescue our skin and limit the oxidative damage.
Here's some benefits you'll see from these nutrients:
Vitamin E provides front line antioxidant defense and creates silky smooth skin. Tones muscles.
Vitamin C supports the body's natural defenses against UV induced collagen breakdown. A deficiency of C or protein can contribute to wrinkles and sagginess!
Vitamin A increases skin's natural moisture retention
Panthenol (pro-vitamin B5) boosts your skin's suppleness and elasticity
Grape Seed Extract interrupts enzyme reactions which break down skin-firming collagen
Beta Glucan soothes environmental irritation
Zinc is a helpful with your immune system and acne.
If staying younger longer and looking younger is part of your mission, then I would suggest these products (click here) . I get flattering comments on my skin regularly and I must attribute much of my fortune by using these products. I simply love them!

Sunny Summer Days!
It is hot! hot! hot! here in sunny Arizona, so don't forget to protect your skin when outside. Sunscreen is no longer an option, it's a necessity if you want to slow down the aging process. I often get kind remarks regarding my skin, and I believe one of the biggest things you can do for yourself is to protect it with superior non-toxic products, especially in the sun.
The skin is the body's largest organ, weighing in at around nine pounds for the average person. It carries out a variety of functions to help maintain your health and it is the first layer of our immune system. Skin also uses the sun's energy to product vitamin D, which is essential for strong bones. Can't get more natural than that and in sunny AZ, we have no problem.
Keep in mind these sobering statistics:
Skin cancer is the most common form of cancer in the U.S. One blistering sunburn will quadruple your risk for getting cancer. Clothing, shade, and clouds don't block out all the harmful rays which are most concentrated between 9am and 3pm.
Make sure to use a sunscreen that's safe and effective, offering protection from both ultraviolet (UV) and radiation (UV-A and UV-B). For a great effective, non-toxic and safe product for your skin, check here for this sunscreen.
Happy day!

Living out faith
I was sitting in church a couple Sundays back and Tom Eggum, of Hope4kids International was speaking about all the work his orgainization has been doing in Africa. He mentioned that it takes $8,000 to build a well with fresh water for an entire village. They are looking to complete 8 more in the near future, pending funding. Well, that got me thinking about the role I could take to facilitate in raising enough money to fund one well. Short term funding would be difficult on our own, but with the help of friends, we could accomplish great things. I began thinking numbers, as to how many sales we would need in order to earn this money and make the donation. I figured out that if 10 of my customers referred 10 people each, and those 10 referred 10 more each, and once more, I think we could pull this off.
Would you like to be a part of this vision? Share the gift of health with a friend or a loved one, and lets accomplish something much bigger than ourselves. Please refer my website and help be a blessing to others.

Our Immune system is awesome!
Wow! I attended a health meeting featuring Dr. Steven Ehrlich as the guest speaker tonight. Not only is he humorous,he is full of information. What I love about Dr. Ehrlich is his ability to understand how the body functions and how to work with it, versus against it, which most modern day medicine does.
Something to think about - When you have a symptom, say, a sore throat, or a sore knee, maybe extreme fatigue or anxiety, what do you do to treat it? Most the time we take some sort of "anti" medicine (antacid, anti-inflammatory, anti....). But are we taking care of the problem or are we just covering it up?
Our body wants to tell us something. Listen to the symptom. Learn to work with it. Make wise choices to use natural supplementation which works with the body. Otherwise you're pretty much telling it to "shut up, go away, not today".
What's your body telling you today?
